What do the symbols on the sunscreen on the packaging mean?

SPF: Sun Protection Factor

SPF stands for sun protection factor and is accompanied by a number on the packaging: usually 10, 15, 30, 50. This indicates its protection against ultraviolet B radiation (UVB) as a guideline. Some people think that this is the number of minutes that the sunscreen will protect the skin. This is partly true, as some experts explain that it depends on the natural protection of the skin, which may be only 5 minutes to 10 minutes. So the factor on these lotions is a multiplier of these times.

UVA symbol

SPF indicates protection against ultraviolet B (UVB), while UVA indicates protection against ultraviolet A. To make sure that the sunscreen also protects against these rays, you should look for the UVA symbol inside a circle.

Unfortunately, this is not the only term used to classify UVA. The abbreviation PA (protection level for UVA) can also be found on some sunscreen products, which classifies the protection level into: very high protection (PA++++), high protection (PA+++), medium protection (PA+++), low protection (PA+). Nonetheless, in Europe, the standardized labeling practice is to use the UVA symbol.

Our unique design

The most unique design of our packaging is the screwn lid, which is very easy to open, has a good seal, and is 100% leak-proof. It adds a safety lock to our packaging, making consumers feel more at ease and assured.
